Kentucky Air Guard participates in African Lion

Two Kentucky Air National Guard C-130 Hercules fly over the coast of North Africa on April 25, 2017. Various units from the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and the Kentucky and Utah Air National Guards will conduct multilateral and stability operations training with units from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces in the Kingdom of Morocco. This combined multilateral exercise is designed to improve interoperability and mutual understanding of each nation’s tactics, techniques and procedures while demonstrating the strong bond between the nation’s militaries.
