Survival training preps aircrews for life-threatening situations

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. --
More than 60 members of the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 165th Airlift Squadron conducted survival training at Camp Crooked Creek here Sept. 13-15, honing their skills in everything from land navigation to parachute extraction.
The course was taught with the assistance of a Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape personnel from the Kentucky Air Guard’s 123rd Special Tactics Squadron.
