Senior Airman Jaime Rosado has been selected as the 2014 Honor Guard Member of the Year for the Kentucky Air National Guard.

"Airman Rosado is a dedicated member who's always willing to support any detail no matter when and where the assignment," said his supervisor, Master Sgt. Bao Huynh. "He has supported details in three States and over 20 cities in 2014. His 'can do' attitude continually makes him a valuable asset to the 123rd Honor Guard Team.

"He's always there for other team members," Huynh continued. "Whenever asked to switch or replace other members on short notice, he is willing to step up. He ensures that Air Force core values always guide his actions. We're glad to have him on the team."

Having participated in 70 Honor Guard and Color Guard events in 2014, Rosado surpassed the team average of 24 events, honoring the fallen by participating in 49 military funeral details. He also performed in 21 Color Guard ceremonies for base personnel, visiting dignitaries and regional social functions.
