This photo, by Maj. Dale Greer of the 123rd Airlift Wing Public Affairs Office, won first-place feature photo in the 2012 National Guard Bureau Media Contest. The image shows medical personnel offloading a simulated patient from a Kentucky Air National Guard C-130 at Fort Campbell, Ky., as part of a Critical Care Air Transport Team training course conducted by instructors from the Air Force Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills at the University of Cincinnati. The Kentucky Air Guard's 165th Airlift Squadron began providing C-130s to use as a CCATT training platform in 2009.
