Staff Sgt. Marie Plaza, a health services management troop in the Kentucky Air Guard's 123rd Medical Group, carries metal arches used in the construction of an Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) facility. The deployable EMEDS are used to provide medical care for military members operating in austere environments and must be inspected periodically to ensure they will be ready for use if needed. - photo by Tech.
