Kentucky Airmen honored for heroism and service in Afghanistan

Kentucky’s adjutant general, Maj. Gen. Edward W. Tonini, presents Master Sgt. James Oliver with the Bronze Star Medal during an award ceremony held Jan. 12, 2014 at the Kentucky Air National Guard Base in Louisville, Ky. Oliver earned the award for exceptionally meritorious achievement while serving in Afghanistan as part of Kentucky Agribusiness Development Team V, a multi-disciplinary task force charged with helping the nation develop a sustainable farming economy.
