123rd Civil Engineer Squadron takes part in humanitarian mission to Moldova
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Mark Jones and U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Jeff Frank, both from the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Civil Engineer Squadron in Louisville, Kentucky, utilize the translation skills of U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Ioan Gaitan, who is on special assignment with the United States Embassy in Moldova, to communicate with a local Moldovan contractor at Special School #12 in Chisinau, Moldova, June 5, 2016. More than 35 Airmen from the unit are renovating the institution, which is the only school in Moldova specifically for deaf and special-needs students. The humanitarian project is a partnership with the Office of Defense Cooperation and U.S. European Command, with funds being provided by the National Guard Bureau.
