Newest Kentucky Air National Guard Airmen enlist at the Kentucky State Fair

Col. David Mounkes (left), commander of the 123rd Airlift Wing, administers the oath of enlistment to swear in the newest members of the Kentucky Air National Guard at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville, Ky., on August 24, 2017. The new Airmen, pictured from left to right, are Jonathan Brierly, Munich Mercado and Danielle Norman. They will be serving as aerospace propulsion, security police and aerospace medical service specialists, respectively. If you’re at the fair this weekend, please visit the Kentucky Air Guard booth for more information on the wing and see our Mini C-130, a scale replica of the unit’s Hercules aircraft. The booth is located in the South Wing, Exhibit Hall B7. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Phil Speck)
