The Memphis Belle, a B-17F Flying Fortress that completed 25 combat missions over Europe during World War II, is one of the displays at the National Museum of the United States Air Force that civilian employers saw during the Kentucky Air National Guard’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Bosslift to Dayton, Ohio, Sept. 10, 2026. The event also gave employers an opportunity to tour the Kentucky Air National Guard Base in Louisville, Ky., providing them with a better understanding of the Air National Guard mission and the role their employees play in it as part-time Airmen in the Kentucky Guard and reservists of the United States Air Force.
